Holiday care summer 2022

Dear Colleagues,

After we were unfortunately only able to offer emergency care in the last two years due to the pandemic, we will resume holiday care on campus for children aged 6 to 12 during the summer holidays this summer with the support of the Charité Freundeskreis.

17 children can be cared for every week. The summer camps (1 round = 1 week) take place one after the other at CVK, CCM and CBF in the following order:

week 28: 11.07. - 15.07.

(1st week of vacation)

CCM

week 29: 18.07.-22.07.

week 30: 25.07.-29.07.

Week 31: 01.08.-05.08.

(2nd-4th week of vacation)

CVK

Week 32: 08.08.-12.08.

Week 33: 15.08-19.08.

(5-6th week of vacation)

The parents' contribution is 50 euros per child. This includes a hot lunch every day. In the last five years before 2020, the children were able to playfully experience how the human body is structured and how it works with the theme "An adventure journey through the human body". At the same time, they discovered the various work and research areas at the Charité through exciting activities. In order to be able to offer your children added value in holiday care, we are planning a varied program this year, taking into account minor restrictions caused by the pandemic.

To register your child for holiday care, send the completed form to familienbuero(at)charite.de by April 25, 2022.

After the selection process by a committee made up of members of the Charité Freundeskreis and the family office, you will find out by May 15, 2022 whether your child will be given a place in holiday care.
